Weekly Playlist 12/27
Every Friday, I share the highlights of what I’ve been listening to over the course of the week, from old favorites to new discoveries. Playlist best enjoyed in order.
Well, we missed last week. You can thank the busy-ness of the holiday season.
Which is also why this week’s playlist is very, very short, with a mere four songs, and one is a repeat offender. We start with “bad guy” by Billie Eilish, which is starting to win me over. I haven’t quite jumped on the Eilish bandwagon, but “bad guy” is growing on me. And that Saturday Night Live performance was really cool. Similarly, I’m not the biggest Lizzo fan, either, but “Worship,” a track from 2016, is really fun. And of course, the ever-fantastic “So Good” by Bat for Lashes is back.
We close with something pretty different from the three previous tracks — Peter Gabriel’s “The Rhythm of the Heat.”
